The GPCA

The GPCA Function Hall – We offer a well presented large function hall, newly refurbished offering a comfortable warm environment suitable for and previously used for :

  • Weddings including full sit down receptions
  • Birthday Parties including indoor Children’s Parties with Bouncy Castles etc
  • Live Music Events
  • Award Presentations
  • Dinner Dances and Gala Nights
  • Indoor Sports Events, Bowls Darts Dog Shows etc

The hall floor has a hard surface coating throughout ideal for all types of dancing. We have a large raised stage centrally on the end of the hall ideal for Bands / Entertainers with a fully stocked licensed bar  at the opposite end with direct access into a fully fitted kitchen. (Kitchen use offered as an extra to your booking if required)

The exterior is well maintained with a newly built enclosed patio area. This has a small grass lawn with plants and hanging baskets a well lit covered smoking area, and a public car park for over 50 cars on a first come first served basis.

This is a great large family venue and is ideal for events starting from 150 for an evening reception with the hall holding 250. For a a formal sit down service we can accommodate between 150 and 200 depending on the table layout and reverting over to evening reception layout.

  • The Hall caters and is equipped for disabled users.
  • A £75.00 damage deposit is required on top of the hall hire fee, but is refundable after the event assuming no damage has been incurred.

  • Kitchen hire available for hot food for £35.

We strongly encourage you to come along and meet with us so you can view our facilities and what we can offer, we promise that you will not be disappointed.

Due to the size of the hall here at the Great Parndon Community Association it is recommended that your event should be for at least 150 people, with a maximum around 250 people. We do have another premises called The Link which has a smaller hall and is more equipped for parties of smaller a size, take a look at The Links hall here or navigate from the top of the page. Special rates are available for community and charitable events. Wine List

Our extensive wine list includes reasonably priced wines which will serve all types of events. Our wine collection serves all types of tastes, choose from our list of zesty wines to crisp wines and if you are celebrating, why not get a bottle of champaign to kick off your party. If you have a special request for a type of wine you would like to have at your party, please contact us and we will do our best to full fill your request. Please be aware that if you are looking to have big bottles of wine at your event, these will need to be pre-ordered before hand to ensure that we do not run out of stock.

Food Menu

The GPCA can provide catering for your party, Let us do the cooking!  We have been catering for parties for the last 20 years, our staff know exactly what they are doing and can cater for any size party. Save yourself the effort of going through the supermarkets thinking about what to get, we have been doing this for years, let us take care of it! We can prepare imaginative themed party menus on request (Please speak to the main office to discuss) and can cater for any ages. Our menus are fun, creative and most importantly, taste great! If you are interested in having your party catered for by us, get in contact with us! On the right hand side of the page we have prepared a few example menu ideas of the sorts of food we prepare. It is also important to add that our buffets start from £5 per head (Finger Food) and range all the way up to £10 per head (Hot Buffet).

No, sorry, all drinks must be purchased through us.
