The GPCA

The GPCA Function Hall – We offer a well presented large function hall, newly refurbished offering a comfortable warm environment suitable for and previously used for :

  • Weddings including full sit down receptions
  • Birthday Parties including indoor Children’s Parties with Bouncy Castles etc
  • Live Music Events
  • Award Presentations
  • Dinner Dances and Gala Nights
  • Indoor Sports Events, Bowls Darts Dog Shows etc

The hall floor has a hard surface coating throughout ideal for all types of dancing. We have a large raised stage centrally on the end of the hall ideal for Bands / Entertainers with a fully stocked licensed bar  at the opposite end with direct access into a fully fitted kitchen. (Kitchen use offered as an extra to your booking if required)

The exterior is well maintained with a newly built enclosed patio area. This has a small grass lawn with plants and hanging baskets a well lit covered smoking area, and a public car park for over 50 cars on a first come first served basis.

This is a great large family venue and is ideal for events starting from 150 for an evening reception with the hall holding 250. For a a formal sit down service we can accommodate between 150 and 200 depending on the table layout and reverting over to evening reception layout.

Due to the size of the hall here at the Great Parndon Community Association it is recommended that your event should be for at least 150 people, with a maximum around 250 people. We do have another premises called The Link which has a smaller hall and is more equipped for parties of smaller a size, take a look at The Links hall here or navigate from the top of the page. Special rates are available for community and charitable events. Do you do 18th birthdays?

Unfortunately we do not cater for 18th birthday parties.

Is the bar fully stocked?

Yes, we have a fully stocked bar ranging from larger, Guinness, ales, spirits and shots. We also have a wide selection of mixers and soft drinks.

Can we bring our own drinks?

No, sorry, all drinks must be purchased through us.
